21st Century Community Learning Center

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine, in partnership with Biddeford Middle School and Apex Youth Connection, is launching a 21st Century Community Learning Center. Through this federally funded center, our goal is to provide quality programming for our students in a safe and healthy environment during the summer and after the school day. Your child is invited to participate in this free year-round program.

21st Century Community Learning Center Programs

The 21st Century Program focuses on increasing academic performance by providing academic enrichment through small classes, tutoring, and cultural/recreational experiences in a safe environment. This program is an extension of learning time, but not a continuation of what is done during a school day.

21^st Century provides free transportation, breakfast, and lunch for all students.

This program focuses on three specific purposes:

To increase academic performance through academic enrichment and tutorial services
To offer students a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities to reinforce and complement the regular academic program; and
To offer families of 21st CCLC students opportunities for literacy and related educational development.
